Hope and Jackson tried to keep their cool in the park Friday afternoon (Clark and Coen, too) but couldn't beat the heat. zMoms even pitched a tent against city ordinance to provide a momentary retreat! Eventually, the shade crept across for a little relief, and Jackson snuck a nap. Hope saved hers for the car ride home, and the comfort of her air conditioned nursery.
It's supposed to cool back down to a comfortable 70 by Monday/Tuesday, and hopefully settle there for the month of June. Despite our unseasonably cold spring, weather folk are already predicting this summer will be a scorcher. Time to buy an inflatable backyard pool! Yay!
