Anyway, the house was filled with flowers, and we just had a nice relaxing afternoon. Liz and Jeff stuck around to play a little Wii bowling, tennis, and boxing after brunch. Liz, bowling in heels, was just one pin shy of a "turkey." She's a natural! Hope took her naps like a champ, and it all felt very seamless. Like Papa says, we have entered the next stage. Luckily, it doesn't feel *too* grown-up just yet - - we're having a blast.
The final picture is of our new SkipHop PlaySpot foam flooring (a gift from B), which helps protect both the floor and Hope as she starts rolling around and launching toys with her laser rocket arm. We will probably start rearranging furniture very soon to accommodate Hope's growing sphere of influence. But all things considered, I think B did a good job picking colors so the playspace is somewhat integrated with our decor. Somewhat. :)
