Glorious Spring Saturday

Today was a picture-perfect Spring day in Portland. Actually, it was nearly a picture-perfect Summer day. By mid-afternoon, we registered 81 in the shade on the outdoor thermometer, and you could have spent the day counting plane trails in the clear blue sky.

It was Week 2 of the Portland Farmers' Market at PSU, and we were there! Pine State Biscuits ran out of sausage gravy in the first 1.5 hours, so we "settled" for mushroom. Hope slept through most of it (probably because she was notably over-dressed for the weather in her cute fleece jacket), but perked up again for an afternoon in short sleeves and BabyLegs outside. Family photos on the front porch, and picking dandelions on a blanket out back.

Bracing ourselves for the return of true Spring this week, but fully recharged on Vitamin D. We took another hundred pictures today, but will post just a few... Cheers - NB&H
