On MD itself, I slept most of the morning, muddled my way through an obscene amount of whipped cream and berries on a waffle, cleaned house, and don't recall much else aside from a nice family dinner at home. All in all, a pretty good holiday.

Mother's Day Picnic
Just realized I hadn't posted re: our Mother's Day activities! It was a gorgeous weekend. Instead of doing the whole MD Sunday brunch thing, we actually did most of our celebrating on Saturday. We started off with a trip to the Farmer's Market, quickly unloaded and turned uphill to Steve's Cheese Bar to stock up on several pounds of delectable cheese and a picnic lunch, which we then enjoyed thoroughly in Laurelhurst Park while watching ducks and wondering where the ducklings might be hiding.
