A Perfect New England Wedding

Sarah and Dahna were gifted the most fantastic weather, setting, and especially foliage for their wedding in Lakeville CT over Columbus Day weekend. Driving out there on 44 from Barrington was reminiscent of the trip out Route 2 to Williamstown - - two lanes at most, traveling through picture-perfect New England towns, rolling hills with trees ablaze... And of course, gummed up traffic from not one but two art fairs - - the renowned Scituate Art Fair, and also one in Salisbury.

The wedding events were a wonderful celebration of a fantastic couple. From the BBQ to the bonfire, to the ceremony, reception, and late-night, we all basked in the glow of a warm gathering of family and friends, just absolutely thrilled to be a part of it all. Grammy and Pappy were along as our official babysitters (and companions) and it was a fun mini-vacation for us all, complete with family hotel breakfasts, exploration in the stroller, and late-night squawking by the little Hopester. It was great to see friends we hadn't seen in ages (in Kenny's case, since *our* wedding), to meet their children as well (whoa! we're growing up!), and just relax together for a weekend. Ahhhh, the Berkshires in October. Nothing quite like it.
