Indoors, Mostly

Well, it's January, so it should come as no surprise we've been spending a lot of time indoors. Although we have gotten out long enough for Hope to make some progress on her tricycle, we're really just dodging the raindrops as we drive door-to-door for diversion.

Hope has been hanging out with the usual suspects, and Zane is starting to get interested in the lovely and charming young Amelia (born in August). Hope and Rose are also seeing each other more now that J and I have begun actively co-op'ing together on a "whatever-you-need" basis. I think all the friend time is paying dividends in sharing (although expert sharers may still disagree). But toddlers are still toddlers, and much of the time "playdate" just means multiple kids under the same roof as toys are enjoyed in opposite corners, coming together for snack time or a quick song.

Speaking of songs, music class has started up again much to Hope's delight. And now that Zane is able to sit reliably (and crawl), I am once again free for dancing. Happy times... xo - N

Here, you see Hope and Liam (though really just Liam) playing Wii Bowling. Liam is like a Mozart of bowling - - just three years old and already bowling more strikes than most of his elders.
