Jolly Late January with Grammy and Pappy

We had a nice week-long visit in late January with Grammy and Pappy. It all got kicked off with a phone call from Jeff announcing his engagement to the lovely and talented Chelsea! We sat down to dinner that first night with some celebratory champagne, and planned out their whole future together.

The largely rainy late days of January were much brightened by our two special guests - we even got a couple sunbreaks so that Hope could enjoy the Zoo and playground. Zane was working on his top front teeth the whole time, making for restless nights in the pack n'play - it was so nice to be able to grab an extra hour or two of sleep in the mornings with the kids happily entertained downstairs.

We'll see each other again very soon in Florida for Zane's baptism! In the meantime, Hope is learning to find Rhode Island on her globe. ("It's very tiny!") xoxo NBH&Z
