Tree Lights & Snow Day

Our weekend started with the purchase of a beauuuutiful 9-foot noble fir for a mere $30! So the first item on our Sunday agenda was getting it into the house, and stringing it with lights. We waited until Hope was down for her 2hr midday nap, and got the tree inside, trimmed down, and set up just in time. Her reaction was adorable - especially as Bryan began to string the lights. Ornaments are the next step, so there will certainly be more photos with the tree.

Today was also a snow day in PDX! The temperature started out around freezing, and dropped all day - - as I write this, it's a mere 24 out, and it's still snowing. As this happens rarely in our area, roads remained snow-covered, and people pretty much stick to their neighborhoods. Only the most major streets get plowed, and that includes zero in our area. We all bundled up, secured Hope in her Chariot (again, loving the weather protection and rugged tires!) and did a little shopping. It was a lot of fun - hope it sticks around! Cheers - N

So comfy and warm in her little chariot - how fun!
