Well, it hardly seems possible, but it has been 1 year since the Ziba babies started joining our world, one every few weeks, for that blessed period in Oct-Dec 2007 (plus Rose in early 08). To celebrate, we held a little birthday party with all the families, complete with potluck dinner, gifts for babies and moms, and birthday carrot cake.(Above, in birth order: Jordan, Jackson, Clark, Hope, Sophie, Rose)
The party was the epitome of happy chaos, and was the first time in a while that all the zBabies have been together in one place. It was a special time for the dads, too, who hadn't gotten together yet as a group, either! So of course, many wonderful photo opportunities were missed amidst the baby wrangling and increasing sense of urgency (panic?) as we approached the 7:00 witching hour. You'll have to pretend there are shots of moms holding babies, dads holding babies, dads grouped together looking jovial... Happily, we did capture the fact that Bryan and Baron were wearing the same shirt, and that Coen appears to be drinking a beer...Enjoy, and Happy Birthday Ziba Babies!!! xoxo - Mama N
