Father's Day was very busy around here, as Bryan and Grandpa B were fully engaged in building out the back fence. The two Mamas focused on creating delicious meals and staying out of trouble. Lunch featured hot pastrami sandwiches in a reuben style (had forgotten to buy sauerkraut), and dinner was a nice roast chicken with mushroom sauce, potatoes and a big salad. For dessert, a flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberries. Gifts included a proper outdoor adventure hat for Grandpa, and a Kelty baby backpack carrier for Daddy B that we will use when hiking this summer.Here are the official Father's Day portraits!
