Nursery Update

Boy, are we happy we took that epic IKEA trip when we did, and made the effort to assemble everything right after we bought it! Here is an update on the nursery/guest room as it's shaking out. Zane will have permanent claim on the North side of the room, while the futon remains on the South to serve as the nursing/storytime zone, and to pop out as needed for overnight visitors.

With the hi/lo dresser combo, we have plenty of drawer space now, as well as a good surface for odds & ends, though this is quite definitely all in the reach of Curious Hopester. We plan to put a set of shelves up on the wall above the dresser for photos, mementos, etc. and are currently shopping for pillows and curtains to breathe some life into the neutral color scheme.

The "door to nowhere" is being turned into a big window in a couple of weeks, which will both make more sense within the room, and allow for an a/c unit in the summertime (essential!).

Sorry for such a dry post, but we had lots of questions about where we're headed with this room so it made sense to provide an update! :)
