A nice treat! Shayla visited Portland for a long weekend, capping it off with Portland's annual Shamrock Run on Sunday. She and B (and Tom and Becky, separately) ran the 5k, in the rain, and had a great time. Hope and I bailed due to the inclement weather, and instead enjoyed a nice lazy Sunday morning indoors.
For journalists (one Peabody Award-winner, and one wanna-be blogging type), we didn't take nearly enough pictures to document the good times we had over the weekend. But here are some photos taken at the Pittock Mansion, where Hope just wanted to run and run on the sloped sidewalks bordering the grounds.
