Hope got to have a big brother for almost a week, when Matt, Heather & Parker visited and stayed in the house with us. Parker is just over 2.5, so we also got a preview of life in 1.5 yrs, just with gender reversed on the kiddos.We had a grand old time, as you can see! The two of them played very nicely. Mostly, they played follow the leader, with Hope gleefully following in whatever Parker happened to be doing. But he was also an adorable older brother, especially when it came to fetching Hope after naptime or in the morning. Heather is also expecting their second child (another boy), and is about 5 weeks behind us - so we had similar agendas when it came to daily activity (i.e. rest while you still can).

What a crazy experience to have. A peek through the looking glass. Must have been very fun, as well as instructive.
