The Grandparents B visited with us from Thanksgiving to Hope's birthday. Although they were third in a string of pretty closely spaced visitors, we really felt the benefit of the larger house in accommodating a larger family. (So, thanks again G-P/G-M B!)Highlights from this trip include:
- Unseasonably cold weather, featuring snow on arrival
- Thanksgiving Dinner at home
- Zane and Hope playing the shell game with G-M
- Visiting the Macy's Winter Wonderland with the kids
- Taking the Oaks Park Holiday Train ride (unfortunately, our camera's battery ran out soon after we left the station)
- Playing at Washington Park
- Sleeping in while Hope and Zane watched Peter Pan clips and others with G-M/G-P on YouTube in the mornings
- Hope's 3rd Birthday Party, which will be the subject of our next post!
