Oaks Park Adventure

Today, a bunch of us decided to stop just being curious about Oaks Park amusement park down along the river in Sellwood, and to go check it out. Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the summertime, the park runs Preschool Rides Mornings, manning just the kiddie rides for ages 6 and under, with $6 admission per child and adults free!

We rode the train, the carousel, and watched brave Sarah take Supattra on the parent/child roller coaster (not a hit). After a snack & chat break, we popped the four gals into a car, which they absolutely loved. Just our luck, we're discovering this in the final week...with the power shut off exactly at 11:30, we missed our chance at the motorcycles and airplanes! We'll have to come back on a weekend in the fall. Cheers!
