Zoo Date with Daddy

Last weekend we took advantage of 70 degree weather and headed up to the Zoo on Sunday morning...along with the rest of Portland! Luckily, we had our membership cards handy and zipped right by the lines developing down the sidewalk.

Hope had been to the Zoo a couple times prior, but not with Daddy, and not since learning the names of a bunch of animals! So it was a fun Daddy Date, as he pretty much carried her around while I waddled at a slower pace, pushing the stroller. We didn't make it to many of the exhibits, since our timing was not the best (just before nap) and Hope was sleepy from the get-go, but she did perk up when we arrived at the Elephants!
