Happy Holidays, everyone! Christmas totally snuck up on us this year, as we had been expecting Hope to arrive closer to Thanksgiving. All of the sudden, it seemed, we found ourselves tree shopping with a sense of urgency, and realizing we hadn't done a thing about presents for even each other.
Grand-Mama, Grand-Papa, and Uncle Alex joined us for a short visit around Christmas, helping to trim the tree, prepare wonderful meals, and generally just relax and make merry with baby Hope. Christmas Eve dinner was the traditional seven (+) fishes, and for Christmas Day, we roasted a goose.
Now with two more weeks at home together before Daddy has to return to work, our plan is nothing more ambitious than to cozy up with some good movies, and just enjoy this special time together.
